The other problem with this album is how it fails to do what it was supposed to do. Then, on Black Spiderman, Logic only has one fuckin verse!! I feel like if Logic made this album with more complete songs and added more, it could have been as good as like a 7.

Ink Blot feels like two 8th graders freestyling so they just do ad libs the entire time. Then in Take It Back, Logic isn’t even rapping for the last 3 minutes of the track. For example, in the song Confess, we get a couple short verses from Logic and a speech from Killer Mike instead of a verse. It’s that it feels like we didn’t get that much. The main problem with this album for me isn’t that it’s whack or corny. Love how this album sounds so much that when my mom took my phone away I bought this album on CD so I could play it in my room to help me relax so I could go to sleep. I feel like even though this is a weaker Logic album, he came into his own in terms of flows and shit on this album. The beats on this album are some of the best we’ve gotten from 6ix and Logic raps his ass off over them. Onto the album, I really love the production. I still wasn’t into Logic yet after hearing these songs but we’ll talk more about how I became a fan later. So I went home and listened to 1-800, Black Spiderman, and Everybody. In 2017, I heard 1-800 on the radio and my cousin yelled “Yay!!! I love Logic!!!” and I was like oh this is Logic. I even watched a video of him giving a tour of all his game consoles, and still never decided to listen to a song from him. I had heard the name Logic a lot during the TITS/Bobby Tarantino days, but never actually decided to check him out. This is the first Logic album I heard, and it wasn’t the greatest impression, but it was enough to get me to listen to more of his music. But yeah, I’m pretty sure everyone hated this album as much as I do so moving on.īest Tracks: COADM, Mama/Show Love, Lost In Translation But that’s like 6 songs, and some of them only for the featured artist. The album started strong, kept it decent around the middle except for Out of Sight, but then once we got to tracks like Still Ballin, Cocaine, Limitless, Bobby, and Don’t Be Afraid To Be Different, my brother and I were like “okay this is a joke.” Literally the only songs I come back to at all are COADM, Homicide for Eminem’s verse, Mama/Show Love, G Eazys verse in Commando, Lost In Translation, and Icy only because it’s a fun song to play at times as a joke.

We were enjoying the music up until around after the song Commando. I don’t remember what I thought of it at first, bc I only listened to the first 7 tracks or so because I had to go to sleep to perform as the scarecrow in the musical the wizard of oz the next day (i do musical theatre lol) So after the weekend of shows was done, I was like “oh yeah, the Logic album!!” so me and my younger brother listened to it.
But literally a week later, I see the album came out, so I listened to it. Yeah, it wasn’t great, but it was miles better than Keanu Reeves, and Eminem’s verse was fucking incredible.

But I knew that there were gonna be a bunch of turn up tracks mixed with a few deeper ones on the album.īut then I heard Homicide, and it gave me some more hope. COADM was a completely different style track than Keanu Reeves, and Logic said his new album was “Under Pressure meets Bobby Tarantino.” I saw the Under Pressure vibes in COADM, and the BT vibes in Keanu Reeves. Keanu Reeves had been released as a single a couple months before, and it wasn’t really that good. I had really high hopes for the album, but then I realized something. I really enjoyed the song, and I thought it was one of the best I’ve heard from him in a while. Track listing No.I remember one day, I was in the lunch room after class, and I was scrolling through Twitter to find that Logic tweeted “I wrote this in blood.” and it had the COADM music video attached. The mixtape was produced by Logic, Black Diamond, 6ix, C Dot Castro, OB, Baum Beats, Inspired Mindz, Charli Brown Beatz, Project Marvel, and Sunny Norway.
